      I have GERD and early Barret's esophagus. The more severe symptoms are mostly under control, but I still feel daily irritation...

      Treatments

      Carafate Too Soon to Tell
      Dietary Modification Somewhat Helpful
      I have eliminated caffein, alcohol (mostly), high fat foods. Smaller meals more often.
      Nexium Working / Worked
      Painful episodes of heartburn are gone, but doesn't get rid of the irritation in the esophagus.
      Prevacid Not Working
