I feel like we won a huge battle! Mood

The tumor shrunk! It was so hard for some of the doctors to say that, like they were wrong and did n;'t want to admit it. Who cares? They can be wrong, they are human. She may not be able to beat each and every one of her illnesses, but she beat this one. Then we were told by the doctor at the nh that sheis a very sick woman. She has so much wrong with her, her heart is weak, I get that. He said they could walk into the room and find her passed at any time. I told them she is still "full code" because that's what she wants....Period.

I"m a bit relieved today, not ready to be too optimistic, because I know she is sick, really sick. But at least one of the problems has been held off for a while. Prayers work.

That is great news about the tumor. Sometimes I think doctors don't want to give us any encouragement. It"s like they see so much and they are scared to be optimistic. She is evidently a "fighter" and as I have told you before " you are a chip off the old block". You are fighting for her in every way and she knows that on some level. You will look back later and know that you did all that you could and that will help you to accept what comes for all of us. Prayers are being sent up for you by so many people. Hugs ))))pat

Your mother is obviously a fighter. She's using mind over matter and that is what helps us all win the battle. She can do it. Yes, she has problems, but she still has the strength and will to fight. Hugs to you both. Ro
