About Me
I am 25 years old. I am married and have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I have had Fibromyalgia symptoms since the end of 2004, but was just diagnosed in November of 2007. I am a Soldier on Active Duty in the U.S. Army. (At least I will be until November of 2008)
Interests
I like to read. I enjoy doing arts and crafts when I can. I like to cook, again when I can. Most of all I like to just hang out and spend time with my family.

Close Fibromyalgia
I was originally diagnosed back in 2004 with seronegative rheumatoid arthritis. That diagnosis was just changed to FM in December 2007.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- I was taking Cymbalta for depression originally, but the dose was just increased in hopes that it will be effective for my FM. The only problem I have with it is that I have to take it in the morning, not at night, or I have strange dreams that make it even harder for me to sleep.
- Elavil Not Working
- I used to take Elavil, again for depression, but it had no effect on my pain.
- Ultram Not Working
- I have taken Ultram many times, but it does nothing for my pain.
- Hypnotherapy Too Soon to Tell
Close Chronic Pain
I have chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia.

- Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
- worked for short periods of time, but had to go in so ofnit was impossibe to keep up with.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- Made me tired.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Worked but had to increase dose to get effectiveness over time.
- Naproxen Not Working
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Worked but had to increase dose to get effectiveness over time.

- Caffeine Somewhat Helpful
- Helpful to prevent, if you keep caffeine intake lavel.
- Excedrin Not Working
- Imitrex Not Working
- Midrin Somewhat Helpful
- Relpax Not Working
- Tylenol Not Working
- Zomig Not Working
- Promethazine Working / Worked
- This is the only thing I can do to get rid of my migraines. I take two of these and they help with the nausea and put me to sleep when I wake up the migraine is gone.
