About Me
I lost my job 2 years ago, then shortly after found out I had MS. I do not have many good days as the stress from financial & insurance problems & depression makes my symptons worse. I was always very active and career driven and now I am trying to find where I fit in and how I could be a productive member of society once again.
Interests
Watching football, playing with my 2 English Toy Spaniels and interior decorating.

What state are you in? Are you on a regular insurance, all paid up, and they just switched the tier? I'll talk to my husband who is an attorney and see what he says. Hang in there.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI was misdiagonsed for several yrs. Shortly after loosing my job I was diagnosed. After being on Avonex for months Anthem has changed my co-pay to $500 a month. I am now working with Biogen on financial assistance, no luck yet and I am out of injections. I was still having horrible side effects from Avonex, but I keep telling myself it could be worse.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Had to stop, could not tolerate the heat.
- Avonex Too Soon to Tell
- Nausia, vomiting, severe pain for 36 hrs.
- Baclofen Not Working
- Did not work.
- Detrol Somewhat Helpful
- Weight gain.
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- Klonopin Too Soon to Tell
- Massage Working / Worked
- Helped, but insurance will no longer pay.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- Helps a little, causes weight gain.
- Nexium Working / Worked
- Insurance will no longer pay.
- Zanaflex Not Working
- No help what so ever.
- Zofran Working / Worked
- Insurance will no longer pay.
