About Me
I am 33 years old. My X and I split up right before. I had my car accident due to his infidelity. While I was in coma, he moved in a new girlfriend. Kids live with me. I haven't walked since June 5, 06. My children and I live with my parents because my accident was so extensive. I broke my back, crushed my rt arm, rt shoulder, broke both hips, Lt, hip replcmnt. Broke all my ribs, had something put in my heart to help filter it so it would not get blood clots. Had head injury which causes short term memory loss. I also had a spinal cord injury. I just had knee surgery in hopes that I will walk again. I want to learn how to walk again and start a new life for me and my kids.
Interests
First and foremost, I love spending time with my kids. Until, I can walk there isn't much I can do except play with the children and pray, and pray some more. After my knee surgery in April, now all I can do is strengthen my legs again to help me to walk again.

Close Breakups & Divorce
My husband and I split up right before my car accident (June 5 06) due to his infidelity. So the kids and I had to move in with my parents due the extensiveness of the accident. I crushed bothed hips, pelvic area, back, rt arm, shdr, spnl crd, hd ijy,hip replacement, knee fracture, in wheel chair.
Treatments

- My parents are the BEST that anyone could ask for. I had to move in with them because of the accident. My dad stays home with me everyday.

- It helps to talk about everything to other people. Allot of others are going through the same thing.
- Time Working / Worked
- I believe time and loads of medicine is the only thing that is going to put my stbx behind me and help me to walk again.
Close Chronic Pain
I had car accident June 5, 06. Crushed both hips, broke back, leg, shoulder, arm, spinal cord injury.and head injury. Currently in wheelchair. Just had hip replacement. Waiting for knee surgery. Hopefully, I will be be able to walk again.
Treatments
- Ambien Working / Worked
- 10mg at night. Helps me to sleep.
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- 60 mg daily
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- 120 mg daily
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- 600 mg day, very helpful. Not helping that much with recent hip replacement.
- Methadone Working / Worked
- 60 mg day. Very helpful.
- Neurontin Not Working
- I had to quit taking because it made my arms jerk back and forth.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Helps for break through pain
Open Paralysis
I just recently am coming to terms with what paralysis I have. During my accident my pelvic area was crushed and had to heal on its own. My hip popped out of place after I already had it fixed and had to wait a year before I could have hip replacement surgery. After I had hip replacement surgery, it caused my left foot to go completely numb. Parts of my bladdar are also paralyzed. I have a spinalcord injury also.
