A Little Jealous Mood

My mom and her sister (Aunt Wanda) flew to Florida today to visit my sister and her family. I am kinda jealous.... not really but I want to see my sissy too!!!! My sister and her daughter came last May for my daughter's high school graduation and that was the last time I saw her. I can't believe it has been a year..... I wish we had the money to visit more or at least take like long weekend trips down to see them or vice versa. I want to go at Christmas but my husband and I think it would be weird because of our son ( he would be three then) and Santa coming and that whole thing. I don't know a solution. I don't want to have x-mas on a different day or have to haul back a ton of stuff..... maybe we could drive but then that adds 2-3 days onto the trip in driving and with a young one it sucks! I don't know... I want to go and be skinny and have fun and party with them..... not worry about money for a week. Sounds like heaven! Maybe I'll dream of the solution tonight!

wow, what a dilema, my kids being so young and family about 4 hr drive away i understand its hard around x-mas. we usually go up a coule of days before and have to haul everything back trying to keep all presents hidden. its very hard. but santa is everywhere and knows where everyone is, you can get away with anything when you put your imagination to work. take a few small gifts with you and leave the rest waiting when you get back, he will be pleased that santa has left more presents at home and you wont have to haul around loads of things. hope this helps a little.
