Close Acromegaly
I was diagnosed with a pituatary tumor in Nov.2006, my doctor ignored it said"let it sit" didn't do any blood work or anything,I was so sick I went to an endocrinologist,I was getting so heavy I thought I might be diabetic. Turns out I had acromegaly.I had it removed in March 2007. I now take thyroid daily and am losing weight, 37lbs since June. All my general doctor wanted to do was put me on antidepressants.Tipping the scales at 232. I weighted about 147 prior.
