What a GREAT weekend. This is what weekends are supposed to be like...
Church today (it's a miracle) then brunch.
Went for our first hiking trip with my boys and my "spare". Thought the 10 yr olds would leave Reece and I in the dust but mine was a little slow due to a newfound fear of hieghts and I thought that the spare would need CPR a few times but I kept motivating him along and he made it. Reece got a couple of "piggy back" rides but for the most part he did great.
4 hrs and 2 trails later we were back in our car and headed home. Boys are beat and I feel great!!
Nice day and I got a little sun to go along with all of that fresh air.
Got home and one of my neighbors..I think it was the spare's grandfather..had cut my grass!! I'll have to tell him thank you.
House is a mess and no clean clothes but I'll catch up next weekend.
Boys "voted" and this will be our new Sunday routine. Church, brunch and the mountains.
Almost forgot.."cute guy" spotting at church..sitting alone and no wedding ring.. NOT why I am going but not the worst place to meet someone..right??
What a great sounding day, nice to be in the mountainous area I'll bet. I love the mountains.
Not a bad place to meet someone...

Sounds like a wonderful day. Church always makes you feel good, wish my teenagers felt the same. Some day. Back to the grind but as long as the sun is shinning its a great day!!

Always on the look out for the next mr right.
Your weekend sounded great, I had one of those myself. I really needed it and it came just at the right time.

BCw3...have to be on the "lookout"..hate for him to walk right past me and I wasn't looking!!

Sounds like a great routine. Beats grocery and laundry. Laughing at the cute guy spotting. I look at ring fingers almost before faces now... I think the only guys like that in my church do not date women.

Church has never worked out for me as a place to meet others of the opposite sex. And now that I converted to Catholicism, well, the frown on divorce (didn't stop my stbx) so the majority are married or too young to consider.
Your mileage may vary.....

I have been going to church every week since D-Day - I kinda like the idea of being around people who are supposed to be good, not people who are conniving and nasty, like my ex and his mistress. Would you believe the priest is the sexiest unmarried guy in the place - no kidding. Not a catholic church, so the options may well be open. (back to the sex thing again, I gotta find a way to move on!)
