This rain is really bringing me down.  I'm back to not being able to get out of bed in the morning and also I am dead by 9PM.  I'm sure it is the weather rather than being sick again.   I hope that is all it is.  I have to get more blood work done for my appointment on May 30th which is a follow-up to my mono.  I leave for the beach on May 31 so I hope everything is okay.

I close friend of mine was just diagnosed with lymphoma.  He got sick in February, I was sick in December, but our symptoms were so much alike.  He is only 66 years old and it is in the advance stages.  My doctor had already referred me to a surgeon to have a gland biopsied when they got blood results back that I had mono.  It is kind of scary that this could have been me instead of Bob going through this and when I still feel like crap I just hope it is the fibro and nothing worse.

Joshua called me last night.  He is doing well.  He is having some issues with the adjustment from "very strict restrictions" during basic training and now that he is in Airbourne, it is a little more laid back.  He said that he still catches himself looking over his shoulder to make sure he won't get caught with a candybar.  He still loves it.  The barracks where they are now is more populated than where they were before, so now he actually gets to see some "girls."  But he did say that he doesn't have time for a girlfriend because he has too many weeks of training yet.
