Last Fri. was #4 for me. I pretty much don't have sides from the shots...thank God! It's the pills that are getting to me. I found out yesterday that my rbc's are around 10 so I had my first aranesp shot. It burned like a mutha going in & afterwards I felt kind of crappy...sore all over. Today I'm feeling better. But I don't think I'm going to like those shots...
I'm looking forward to going to the support group here in Chicago in a couple of weeks. My hubby wants to come with me so that will be really nice. Oh well, another work day down and I made it all the way through! Time to go home...

Add your supportDid my first shot last Fri. and I have to say it took me a while to work up the courage to actually poke myself. Those needles are sharp! :) Felt ok until the middle of the night. I woke up expecting to hurt all over but I didn't. Went downstairs and by the time I got down there the chills came over me pretty bad & I felt like I was going to faint. I made it back to bed with 3 thick comforters keeping me nice & toasty. It didn't occur to me to take another tylenol but if the same thing happens this week I'm planning on taking one.
Saturday just felt a little brain dead...a little more than usual. I was able to take my son & his friends a couple of places they wanted to go. Wasn't too hungry at dinner. Sunday I felt pretty good...no chills, no muscle aches. Still don't have a huge appetite but yesterday and today I've been at work feeling pretty darn good!!! I'm feeling grateful but I'm also kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. This Friday the nurse is going to help me take the shot so I can learn to do it the right way. Today is a good day!!
