      we have lots in commen. we are both 24, both are struggling with my weight, ( i'm about 25 lbs overweight!) both been on ww for a bit. i think this is so funny!

      I have been hypersensitive to new meds given to me i have to start out as a childs dose and go from their...can't stand socks touching my feet and if i could i live nude so nothing touched my skin...

      The doctors say Im about 25 pounds overweight for my height. This happened also in high school and I weight the same amount now. I lost it then and maintained losing through college, but now Im having a hard time losing it again. I hate feeling tired and like a failure because I cant motivate myself to work out even though I know its better for my health.

      Treatments

      Atkins Diet Working / Worked
      Did this for 3 months, lost some weight but Im an all or nothing person and as soon as I ate a muffin on vacation I never went back. This was 8 years ago.
      Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
      ALWAYS WORKS. But I eat healthy now and Im maintaining my weight. And I know when I lose the weight I can maintain by a good diet, but the losing it need more than generic healthy eating.
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      This always works, I just have a hard time making myself go everyday.
      Weight Watchers Working / Worked
      I lost 15 pounds in high school on it, which was 10% of my weight which is their goal. It worked really well, but I felt SO young compared to everyone else that Im questioned going back. It was really hard to be on it, but the results were real.

      I have a gym membership and I always make weight loss goals, but never fitness goals specifically. Im hoping that by being apart of this community I can make physical fitness a priority in my life. I have a hard time making exercise a priority. I know I should be working out, but why dont I do it?

      Elliptical Trainer Working / Worked
      If I actually go to the gym this helps.
      Running Working / Worked
      In college I was going though alot of relationship issues, I started running to deal with the anxiety and stress. Since I've moved to LA I havent been motivated by anything to do that again. But my body and breathing were improving by running.
      Yoga Working / Worked
      Just starting going to Kundalini Yoga classes and I love them. I hope this will help with my flexibility and back pain which so far is helping.
    • Open Sensory Integration Disorder

      Finding out that I had Sensory Integration Disorder helped put together all of these random pieces of my life that had never made sense why I had felt or liked or disliked certain things. I was 20 when I found out so Ive never had treatment for it. Im hypersensitive and I know many people in community are here because their children have it. I have no problem answering questions about what its like growing up with it etc.

      I have Sensory Integration Disorder which causes depression, but not constant depression. Ive never gone on meds. Just here for support when it does happen and ways to help it.

      Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
      When you can actually do this. Which isnt often once Im actually depressed.
