I am a professonal researcher and genealogist. I love history and historical items because they connect me to others. My life is devoted to family. I love all animals and have from birth. My father was a vet. I enjoy trying to wood carve - understand trying - painting and doodling with crafts. I love log homes and walks in the woods and mountain tops. This has been a good sounding board for me these past weeks and thank anyone who listened. With heart problems and esophagus problems, struggling with weight and thyroid, and mother possibly in early AD stages I appreciate all my friends and support.

Diagnosed Barretts 2 wk wait for biopsy scary times. Biopsy benign & have precursor for but not Barretts. Undiagnosed spasms Changed meds & will do motality test. Biopsy:chronic inflammation & partial mucosis. Was upset dr stressed how serious & that was def Barrett’s, even giving bklet redlined. If worded diff would not had 2 wks stress. But same dr got me thru bled out ulcer & Barretts hard to diagnosis-will continue faith with him. Spasms leave me worn out& have increased just want relief.
My mother comes from a long line of dr's. Her mother had & sister had it. She is 86 and perfectly lucid most of thetime. Sometimes says she gets confused. Lives alone a few miles from me I check often - she with med background refuses to see dr. Physically healthy - how can you convince someone they need evaluated? She ate dessert after Thanksgiving dinner and when an hour later someone suggested they were ready for pie she said Oh do we have dessert and ate yet again. That is minor.
Am 58 and abt 5 yrs ago lost a lot of weight thinking I was doing by diet only to find me on floor with bleeding ulcer. Of course when healed gained all back. So about 2 years ago was healthy and walked it all off again climbing the hills of KY. Then I blew it. Now I have diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus & struggling with Gerd and all that goes with it so have lost about 10 want this time to do it right not diet but eat to live healthy - but is going to be difficult finding right foods -
