  I'm not a rodeo fan for the same reason..Hubby goes every year and every year he says, "it was worse than the last year".lol So, why he goes I have no idea.lol I didn't even see the fireworks, and usually they are pretty good.. I was so tired and it got really hot in the afternoon. Oh yes, someone told me that the store owners were complaining about the barbeque in the park and that the it was hurting business..HOW it hurts business once a year is beyond me, so someone said they had it closer to town? I have NO idea, it sounded kind of silly to me.. I'm not one for doing anything here as there really isn't that much to do, even on the 4th.. Although they did have the iron works and antiques at the park in Hailey, that was kind of interesting... I didn't cook, some of my kids worked that day...so..we did breakfast for everyone the next day...glad that's over also..as we decided to try new recipes.lol

  Wow, I guess I my hugs didn't show up until now, at least I didn't see them.lol The 4th here wasn't as bad as I thought it would be..but ONE family kept doing it, until 2:30 in the morning, which was tiring, as they would go in intervals, so when I THOUGHT they had stopped, and I opened the chins window, then they would light them off again..so although there weren't as many and didn't go as long, THOSE people drove me nuts.lol The cat got scared early on, and she came running in the house, and it was hot, so she would run out, run in and was scared to death..THANK goodness...I don't want her thinking that sound is GOOD.. It was so hot and miserble, I felt bad for my chins, as there was no way I could leave their windows open until all the fireworks were done.. We went to the parade, it was SO bad, that people started leaving early. ONLY a couple of home made floats, the rest was the Mayor on a fancy car..right up front..(shocker)lol..and fire engines, rescue trucks, the national guard trucks, tansk, backhoe (I didnt realize they had a backhoe the color of military)lol...and it was rediculous.. Two fire trucks would have been plenty, and can you imagine the GAS that was spent on those vehicles? They spaced them wide apart at times, and you can imagine why..there was hardly ANY parade. A few horses, a couple of horse and buggies, and the rest, ADVERTISEMENTS. Can you believe that? People advertised and only one had red balloons on it...talk about lame..Like I said, people LEFT before it ended, just got up and walked off..

  Actually she is really good. She is making it several hours without needing to go out at night. She sleeps peacefully in her kennel and during the day she behaves really well. If she gets too rowdy, I can easily get her diverted to her toys. We go on two walks a day, and that keeps her pretty drained on the energy levels. She is really a great puppy. Hope you are doing well. hugs
