I'm a homemaker with three terrific grown kids and am blessed with the best, most loving and supportive husband in the world. I was diagnosed with fibro in 1988. I am also a proud 5-year cancer survivor.
I love to machine quilt, read, design and decorate. Music is my passion. My vices: dark chocolate and "The Young and the Restless."

I was originally diagnosed in 1988, I'm seeing a new doctor and am undergoing sleep studies before we begin a drug regime.
I've had depression off and on for many years.
I've had RLS for over a year and it fluctuates with my fibro.
Diagnosed a few months ago.
First diagnosed in 1985. Have it in feet, shoulders, back, elbows, hips, knees (one replaced, other waiting), spine, jaw. I miss Vioxx.
I'M A SURVIVOR for 5 years now.I had a bronchial tumor for 6 years unbeknownst to any of us until my left lung collapsed. I was fortunate that the removal of the tumor was all I needed to go through.
7 years and counting!! I had a serious esophogeal erosion, but Nexium has healed that.
I was just diagnosed with the "strong beginnings" of macular degeneration. I am not undergoing any treatments at this time.
Having typical menopause symptoms although I had a hysterectomy when I was 32. Can't take any HRP because of a strong family breast-cahcer history.
Had L4/L5 heliolaminectomy in 1984. Have three other bulging discs but because of scar tissue, further surgery is not an option.
Have not had a single day without pain since 1974. Prayer and realizing this is a cross I must bear is helping me get through this.
I suffer from menopausal migraines. They always last at leat 3 days and they're your typical symptoms -- throbbing pain, light sensitivity, and sometimes I lose sight in whichever eye the migraine is on.
