i need input on this - i had my second infusion of tysabri and last 5 min got some side effects-hives and chills they cancled my next appt and said i might not be able to continue.im deveststed because i believe this is my only hope because im progressive.i thought it was allready starting to help.i gotta wait to see what my neuro says.i pray i can continue-i once had a bad reaction to a copaxone shot and continued and it never happened again.any suggestions out there-i hope everyone has good holidays-best wishes to all

    I would remind him of that reaction to Copaxone and how it only happened that one time and that you hope that is the case with this too. Did they have to give you Bendryl for the hives or anything? Was your throat tight? I got the chills my first infusion and they actually gave me a blanket to keep there for infusion days. The Tysabri people make it for us for I take it they expect the chills may happen.

    I am in the midst of a mini-exsaserbation (spelling?) or attack and I was afraid to tell them in fear they would take me off Tysabri too but they didn't. I go next week for infustion #2.
