Hi. I was originally diagnosed with thyroid disease, hasitmoto's thyroid, years ago and am on medicine. Masses/nodules starting showing on ultrasounds that I still keep getting checked out for. I was supposed to get surgery done in 1/07 but a person hit me again and it was a very serious car accident. I'm still in pain from it and following up. There are really good websites on thyroid and thyroid conditions. I'll have to get back to you with some of it. You may already have visited them. I also have books on it and have been to multiple drs. for treatment. My sister has thyroid and my mother did when living too. About the hair falling out and other things, just wanted to ask you if your dr. a specialist dealing with thyroid or a gen. family physician or internal med. dr.? It does make a difference if they have alot of experience when treating it. I can get back to you with more info etc that I have that may be helpful to you. I've been living with this, thyroid disease, now for a very long time. I'm surpised at the amt. of people that actual have thyroid conditions. Hope you feel better!
I've missed you...welcome back.
Hope you are doing well. Enjoy the rest of your summer; what is left! Elizabeth
I read your last journal entry and the same thing happened to me so I went to one of the best lupus specialists (he was at the Mayo clinic). They were able to do a specialized test to confirm I indeed did have lupus. You might want to consider trying somewhere like the Mayo clinic. They really know their stuff.
I'm 24 years old, married to a wonderful husband, thinking about starting a family and I was just diagnosed with lupus. I've had fibromyalgia for almost 8 years and the recent diagnosis was hard to handle. I work as a medical assistant, which I absolutlely love and I'm also going to school to become a medical transcriptionist.
I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was 18. I was also recently diagnosed with lupus.
Hi, I'm 24 years old and was recently diagnosed with OA in my knees and I'm very upset so i sought out a support group...I hope you all can help me and I can help you! :)
I'm 24 years old and I have had anxiety problems most of my life. My father and my brothers also deal with it.
I'm 24 years old and I have fibromyalgia and systemic lupus. I'm now going to a neurologist to rule out MS. I've been having bouts where my legs go numb or tingle. I've also been having severe balance and memory problems. I'm pretty freaked out about it.
I'm 24 years old and I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and lupus. Now my doctors want me tested for MS and I recently had some labs come back that makes them think it is actually rhabdomyolsis.
I have very high levels of thyroid autoantibodies...but low TSH, T4 and T3...not sure what's wrong yet.
I was just diagnosed with an aneurysmal bone cyst in my sacrum.
