Well yesterday was a day for a turn around, I went to work and was waiting tables as usual.  Well this couple came in and i had 3 other tables at the same time, so I went up to the table and asked them what they wanted to drink, they looked ready to order so I took their food order, well theyordered soup and salad, which means I had to get everything and the kitchen didn't have to cook anything, then at the exact same time 2 of my other tables food came up and was sitting in the warmer window, so I quick delivered the food to the other tables.  THen I got the soup and salad and breads ready for the new table, loaded my tray got it all out there and then looked down at the table and said "crud I forgot your drinks"  talk about feeling stupid so I ran and got the drinks and took them out too.  I checked on the a few times always asking how everything is and if there is anything they need, i checked on them every time I walked by their table (that's something I always do, if I walk by one of my tables I always just check in with them to see how everything is tasting or if they need something)  Well things start clearing out and the man at the talble asked me "How long have you been at this store?"  I said " I have been here since October"  he then said "Oh well you are a pro at this, you're so friendly, pleasent and sweet"  I said "thanks I just started waiting tables again, I waited tables just out of high school ..." and the lady interupted me and said "like what 2 yrs ago"  I just laughed and said, "Yea i wish more like almost 12 yrs ago"  she looked so shocked she said to me "no way you're not that old"  I laughed again and told them " yea, i've been married for 8 yrs and have a 6 & 3 yr old"   They then asked how often i worked there and I went througth the whole I am in Nursing school full time and I work there friday sat and sundays, and that hubby can't work since he was injured at work and we're fighting with workers comp ....  the lady then said to me in a joking way "so what do you do in your free time"  I smiled at her and said "actually I am a volunteer EMT where I live"  she was astounded, she asked me if I was kidding and I said nope not kidding.  She said "man you've got a full plate"  I said, yea, well I work here to pay for the gas to get me to school and I go to school so I won't have to wait tables the rest of my life.  They both just looked at me and didn't know what to say, so i said that I have to get some other tables food really quick and then I would be back to check on them in a few minutes.  Well I was standing behind the counter, actually leaning on the counter, and the man caught my eye and waved me over, i though oh crap what did i forget now.  So I went over there and as I walked up the man said to me "here we want you to have this, we what to help you out and all i need is for you to fill in your name for me." and then handed me a check for $50.  I started crying, I said , Oh my goodness, you don't know how much this means to me, he then told me that he wanted to help me and knows that I need it and that they want to help and they want me to have it.  I didn't know what to do other than cry, i thanked them over and over and kept telling them,  This means so much to me.. Then they said you're welcome and then they left.  I was in shock, then later on that night when i was getting ready to go home I was checkin my credit tips and low and behold they also tipped me $3 on thier bill on top of the $50 they gave me.  See I was supposed to be at work and it truly warms my heart to know that there are kind hearted people out there willing to help a complete stranger...I have never seen this couple before and they helped me out more than they will ever know.  They are the Pierce Family and if you all could pray for them and ask for a blessing on their family,I know I will be thanking God for them daily.  Thanks to you all
