So, the young man who cause my head injury has violated his parole, by assaulting yet another police officer. I now have the opportunity to speeak at his violation hearing. Thankfully, I have a few weeks to figure out exactly what is is that I want to say. There are about a million things I would like to to say, but I am sure that my time to speak will be limited and I don't want to waste it. So, I'm probably going to write and rewrite something until I feel like I have gotten it down to relevant issues that will make the most impact on the hearing officer. Its interesting that, at this juncture, I am presented with this opportunity. My anger towards him has wained considerably. However, the idea that, after destroying my career and the plans I had for my life by pointing a stolen vehicle at me and two other officers, and then pressing the eccelerator, he has yet again assaulted a brother officer proves that he is, by definition, a danger to society. I would be remiss if I didn't speak out.

He obviously & definitely needs professional help... needs his eyes opened to realize the damage he's done to others & to himself. He also needs to realize that he needs the Lord, the Lord's love, the Lord's guidance, too.
