Close Infertility
My husband and I have been ttc for 4 years. We are dealing with male factor infertility and are patiently waiting for our little miracle...
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
- Confusing at times but, for the most part, fairly simple to determine when ovulation occurs.
- Clomid Not Working
- Had hot flashes and mood swings galore! Didn't conceive so took a break. I am considering trying again if the doctor recommends it but I'm not looking forward to it.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Found out I have a tight cervix. Doc had a hard time getting the catheter in. He said that may be part of my problem. Also, my left tube was delayed so there may have been some debris. Everything else looked fine on the x-ray. A little pain associated with the catheter but worth it.
Close Other Heart Problems
Type: Mitral Valve ProlapseI was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse in January of 2004. I often have shortness of breath, chest pains, rapid/irregular heart beat and a heart murmur.
Treatments
- Stress Management Working / Worked
- I was misdiagnosed with exerciseinduced asthma and took inhalers galore. Once they realized my real problem I understood that I wasnt having asthma attacks but anxiety. Now I know how to control it but reducing my stress and deep breathing.
