HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

 It was absolutely delicious. We do this thing every year with my family and my uncle's family- we all go around the table and just say a "thankful for" or two. It's amazing to see how lucky we really all are  .. that we're alive is something to be thankful for really. We wake up and live our lives and go to sleep and there are people out there who are struggling in every way many of us are not. My grandpa just had his hip replaced and my dad flew there to be with him, and my mom said that in their 30 years of marriage, she has never spent a Thanksgiving without my dad. Thanksgiving is an eyeopener - I'm thankful that my dad went to go take care of my grandpa, and I'm thankful that my grandfathers recovery is going well - my life would be sad without either of them in my life. I'm thankful that my aunt who had a stroke this year is recovering well. She lost most of her speech and is struggling, but she's here. and thank God she is. I'm thankful for friends and family, the amazing but few people I have in my life who I could call on anytime I need them, and they'd be there for me in a drop of a hat, and vice versa.

Sometimes I have these moments where life is completely amazing. It's euphoric really, and I can't breathe in too much of that amazing mountain air, and I can't bask in the sun a moment too long. I want to remember every moment and I feel ridiculous for any day where I don't appreciate everything I have and everything that life is letting me accomplish.
