Sunday, July 6, 2008 | A General Update story

How unusual to sit here at my desk and not be fighting falling stacks of paper. My desk is totally clean except for my hard drive, monitor, keyboard and modem. I've got everything else boxed up and ready to move, and will take down the rest of it tomorrow night.

My apartment is looking so good, my mom and I worked over there about all day yesterday. We got the curtains hung, and the bathroom is finished, and we got a lot of boxes emptied. A lot of the stuff I took is going to have to stay in boxes and be stored somewhere, but it was stuff that I couldn't part with even if it stays in a box for the next 10 years. And a lot of the boxes I can't do anything with until the furniture gets there on Tuesday. My step-dad let us use his truck yesterday, so we got most of my stuff over there in about 2 trips, and I'll have one more load to take in my lil' SUV. I drive a Chevy Tracker, I call it a girl's SUV.

MS wise, I'm doing better than I expected. I have been doing a lot of hard work, and probably overdoing it, but my stress level is almost non-existent now, so I've been sleeping like a baby and getting plenty of rest. If the relief that I feel is equal to the amount of stress that I was under, it's a wonder that I'm still alive today. I am the happiest right now that I have ever been I believe.

Yesterday afternoon, I was a little pissed with Greg about something, until I realized that whether or not I'm pissed with him is a concious choice that I make, and if I make the choice to be pissed all the time, I'll become bitter and unhappy, and that is soooo not me. So now, the past is the past, it's time to move on and make my life exactly what I want it to be. And for the next while, it's just going to be me and Norman, enjoying the peace and quiet.

I better go for now, I've got things to do, places to go, and NOBODY to see, lol. I like it that way. Y'all have a great Sunday, and I'll write more soon. I will be posting some more pics in few days of my new place, with all my furniture in place and hopefully some more boxes emptied.

My Goodness Girl you are so positive. I like the New You...Sounds like you have got the majority of the boxes there. The fun part when the furniture arrives and how you will arrange it all.

Good to hear with all this work, your MS is in check....we don't understand how much stress can effect our bodies.

How does Norman like the new Place. You got the right attitude with Greg, time to go on and not have any bitterness in life.
