About Me
Retired Psychotherapist and Christian (since February 1974). The last ten years of my practice I worked primarily with sexual abuse victims of both sexes and all ages. Before that I provided psychotherapy for a very broad range of psychological problems with much work with patients with anxiety disorder or panic disorder. Sadly, after over 25 years I was forced to retire due to health problems. Two big heart attacks and three smaller ones, three heart surgeries and advancing emphysema. Moved to Florida and then with no warning or consent I have been blind sided and cut off at the knees like most of you, with Fibromyalgia. 100 MG of Lyrica three times a day has helped considerably. Oxycontin and morphine when the Lyrica falls short. My wife is a Princess and a blessing from God for sure. When she is at work our dog Duke is my constant companion.
Interests
Wife, dog and I are nudists and live in a nudist resort in Central Florida. One day I over heard a couple of members here talking about another member and one said, "He is kind of odd." I butted in and said "We ALL are or we wouldn't be walking around naked." Give it a try. Very liberating! So wonderful to get totally connected with nature. Ahhhhhhh!

Still digesting all the info. Have also been very busy filling out disability forms and doing my taxes. One thing for sure, I'm not letting it get me down. I am just going to be there for him as I can, and wait for him to come around. He was a bit better yesterday.

Close Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia. weak, hurt all over. Very difficult to walk, no strength. Now my hands and fingers jerk. Spills coffee and hard to read the newspaper. The lines jerk on me
Treatments
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Seems to have reduced the pain and I can now walk again albeit more of a stagger.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- Hx of leg, hand and body cramps. Took a lot of quinine Sulfate to control the cramping. FDA stopped the mfg of QS and about a month to two months later I awakened with such horrible pain I thought I was dying. Really! Like a hot iron, set on Linen pressing against my thighs and my arms and hands were so week I need help getting up off the floor. I landed there in response to the lightning bolt that seemed to have hit me. Went to Neurologist, MRI of the brain was negative for scaring.
Close Panic Attacks
several years of panic attacks. Ended up a Psychologist to figure out how they happen and how to stop them.

- Xanax Working / Worked
- It is the only drug the FDA currently approves solely for panic attacks.
Open Kidney Stones

- Surgery Working / Worked
- Have history of kidney stones. Acute renal failure lead to surgery to remove the blockage (stone over 1 CM in diameter). Multiple stones now in both kidneys but they are not moving. Urologist decided to leave them alone.
Open Skin Cancer
Over 30 skin cancer surgeries and 550 total radiation treatments.
Open Sexual Abuse
Many years of providing psychotherapy to sexual abuse victims of both sexes, all ages.
