      I am a 41 year old mother of 3- I was dx with pd about 2 1/2 years ago. This past July my husband of 19 years burnt our home down and shot himself. Depression is a terrible thing and we all missed the warning signs. He was not dealing well with my illness and this was affecting or marriage as well as other things. My pd symptoms are controlled very well with medications. So far I am a very lucky woman, pd has given me some wonderful friends that I would not have met otherwise.

      Treatments

      Mirapex Working / Worked
      Working but side effect can be devistating - suggest close monitoring.
      Sinemet Working / Worked
      Working but does not control tremors as well as mirapex but I have no side effect.
