About Me
Hello, I was dx'd with Fibromyalgia in 1995. I have constant pain in my body and headaches. I have a lot of twitches and things going on. I had a MRI 2 years ago showing 20 + Lesions. So now possible MS. I also have tested positive for Lyme. I did 5 months of antibiotics they seem to help with the headaches and leg pain but i am still so fatigued and twitchy and weak. My neuro is running more tests to rule out MS. I just want to know forsure what I have so I can deal with it! Limbo sucks!!

Hi Kate Thanks for your support. Yes I was in the same position, just wandering down that lonely CFS/FMS road thinking what the hell is wrong with me. I suffered for 4 years . Just glad we got a DX!!!!!!! I Stay positive Dave

i don't know what to day about a switchation i am going through.I have a wounderful girlfriend that i love dearly.I have a dear friend and she wants me to come out to see her i told her i would but only as a friend and she had to know that.but i am scared that if i go to see her as a friend that my girlfriend is going to break up with me.and i don't want to have her break up with me.How do i get my girlfriend that this friend is just a friend and that is it.

Welcome, I can tell you that you are gonna have a rough road ahead of you.I had been mis diagnosed all my life. I am 37 now. Probably had this since birth ( from my mom in preganacy) I have seen some of my states top docs at Johns Hopkins hosp. and was told that it had advanced so much that nothing could be done. Ironically after all the doctors and even my Lyme doc I am now being treated at a CF and Fibro center in Piladelphia and found out that I have no thyroid function or adrenal function. No wonder I don't feel well! So there is a point where they combine. I have them due to my Lymes. My daughter and husband have it also ( thanks to me!!!!) they don't have any real major symptoms yet though. Thanks to my God for that. So just do alot of reasearch. It is a very confusing disease and alot of different treatments. None of the antibiotics helped me though. I still have neck and back and joint pain, and bouts of depression countless symptoms. I know there is only one physician that is going to help me and that ia the Great Physician Jesus. I wish you the best. I am glad you have support system at home. If it weren't for my husband I don't think I would be here. We know our body best so just listen to it you know when something isn't working. I even had to quit my job of ten years in Nov. That killed me. I was a Kindergarten Assistant and I loved my job. It doesn't help that they are making it worse to get and find a doctor to treat it because they are scared to loose their lisence. Close Lyme Disease
I was dx with fibro in 95 and have been dealing with pain and weakness in my legs arms hands and feet. I had a MRI showing over 20 spots so they thought i had MS but recently after 12 years and many tests and doctors i tested positive for Lyme.
