49 yr old mother of 4 and grandmother of 5. Married for 22 years now. Part time medical Assistant. Spend most of my time taking care of my grandchildren now. And hanging out here at Daily Strength. Here to help anyone who needs help dealing with Hepatitis C. I've got strong shoulders and can help to carry your burdens. I'm a great listener. And try to help out as much as I can.
Interests
Love to garden and teach and play with my grandchildren. Spend as much time with family and friends as possible. I like to play poker. Read a good book and watch reality TV( I know HUH).

I just dont feel well. I can't eat and if I do I throw it up so its all acid and it hurts my throat. I have a bad cold and Im so home sick its not funny. I miss my mom and my grandma and everyone. I know I should act like the mom I will soon be but its hard. I'm hungry tired and sick. the worst part is my bf smokes and i cant go near him because the smell makes me vomit even the thought of smoke makes me sick.

Close Hepatitis C
Dx 6 years ago. Did treatment, no success. Husband dx 5 years ago did treatment, no success. And our youngest daughter(16 now) was dx 5years ago did treatment, no success. Now we wait, have good days and not so good days, waiting for the cure.
Treatments
- Interferon Not Working
- Very tough, was sick almost the entire 48 weeks. Depression, flu like symtoms, rash and sores in mouth.Loss of hair . Had to take the last 5 months of treatment off from work it got so bad.
- Ribavarin Not Working
Close ADHD / ADD
I have a (28)year old son and his son (5) who both have ADHD. I believe I have ADD but have never been treated for it. Just looking for some info and support
Treatments
- Ritalin Working / Worked
- Grandson is on Ritalin and it helps keep him on track. He is the most addorable little boy but has difficulty staying on point from one thin to another
