      I quit drinking on Nov. 11th, 2007. Very proud of my sobriety. I haven't had any strong cravings yet, but I have had some recurring dreams about drinking...very frustrating, but quite a relief when I wake up.

      Treatments

      AA Meetings Working / Worked
      I am FINALLY starting to have a better attitude about AA. I am not following the 12 step program, but I am going to meetings, and I enjoy hearing familiar situations. It's nice to know that so many other people are walking down the same path.
      Cold Turkey Working / Worked
      That switch finally flipped...I got my 3rd DUI when I was thinking about quitting anyway. It's been pretty hard, but the reward is something beyond description. I've never been happier.
      Willpower Working / Worked
      I am slightly obsessive compulsive, and I have really grabbed ahold of this "streak" that I've put together. I sometimes have to remind myself that the streak itself is not as important as not drinking, but it works for me.
