About Me
Time to update just a bit. I've been divorced now for a year and have learned alot about myself. Still learning and hope to never stop. I enjoy watching my girls play in all the sports and I do mean all the sports. Which means that I'm constantly running to practices and games. That's okay, I want them to be involved. I play competitive softball, volleyball and kickball but love all sports. I'm a very giving and caring person, which at times allows others to take advantage of me. I'm working on that!
Interests
Sports, working out, friends, reading and dining out (when I have money). I love spending time with my friends or just hanging out watching football and Cardinal baseball. I am a hopeless romantic which apparently didn't help my marriage. He didn't appreciate it. I love the beach, fishing and just snuggling with someone that I love. Haven't done that in awhile!

Close Breakups & Divorce
Just newly divorced after being with him since 1991. Found out that while we were married he had an affair with the person that I accused him with. She even denied it but then again, she's also married. This whole thing about being on my own with two girls ages 8 and 10 is so scary. Some days are very good and some are very lonely.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- Didn't work because the counselor told my ex that he had to grow up and realize that he's married with two children. He walked out.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I really enjoyed my counselor. She helped me tremendously and have become friends since. She's about 20 years older than I and has been happily married.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- It always works talking to your friends and family.

Close Infidelity
I found out while we were going through a divorce that my ex had an affair with another married woman (while we were married)with a woman that I had accused him with. Both denied anything had happened that they were just "friends". Even when I found a card that she had given my husband at the time describing how he was the man for her. It took everything in my being not to go to her husband.
