I used to work in direct care, and pharmacy, until 2001. I have 3 beautiful daughters, 1 son and 2 son in laws and a wonderful husband and I am the NANA of Ethan & Zoey(born 03/05 &11/05), Tommie(born 01/07) & new baby girl coming this December. I have a long history of many physical problems.In 1991 I had thyroid cancer due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, a autoimmune disease genetically passed on by both of my parents. I have DDD, Osteo, spina bifida, fibro, chronic fatigue,muscle atrophy,and of course depression and anxiety. I used to be a very physically busy person until this all hit me...a real go getter. Now my life has been altered by these issues. I am 39 now and all of this began at age 22.
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- helps muscles somewhat at night....still have break thru spasms during the day, and some cramping at night...doc is difficult on adding more!
- Heat Working / Worked
- Spend a lot of time on heating pad....my best friend somedays
- Lyrica Too Soon to Tell
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- This helps my depression and also helps my FMS/CFS symptoms.
- Valium Working / Worked
- This medication helps my anxiety,and assists in my sleeping.
