My twin boys are 2 1/2 and driving me crazy. They don't listen and seem to find it funny when I tell them to stop or try to discipline …

Thanks tons for the hug. Ha, when I was a kid my grandpa used to call me girl. Everyone else he called by their names, but I was girl, so I think calling a boy, "Boy" is great..lol. I do that with both of the twins when I'm fed up with their behavior. have a great day.

I have twin boys that are almost 3 and always looking for help and support. It can be very trying on my patience but they are great boys and I don't know what or where I would be without them. I am 36 and have been married for 11 years. I just quit working to stay home with the kids.
Treatments
- 1-2-3 Magic Somewhat Helpful
- Depending on the situation, it will work and they will come and follow my requests. Side effect is now they call me to come or do something and then count to 3, telling me to get there.
- Child Time-out Working / Worked
- I use the naughty step when the behavior is severe. For example, hitting, kicking, throwing. They often cry and don't like it but it works well and it stops the negative behavior.
- Patience Somewhat Helpful
- Helpful But hard to maintain with twins.
- Positive Reinforcement Somewhat Helpful
- They like to earn stickers or toys but sometimes it's not immediate so it doesn't impact the behavior that occurs at the time.
Open Parenting Toddlers (1-3)
I have 2 1/2 year old twin boys. They can be the best behaved boys and then the opposite from hour to hour. It is a very challenging age and I am looking forward to sharing and meeting others with similar issues. Hopefully we can help each other :-)
