    I am recently married (2nd time), 2 sons and 3 cats. I believe that all people are beautiful and can be, if they put some effort into loving themselves. Though I've believed this for some time, I have only recently started following it myself. I have one large tattoo on my chest & am definitely getting more... 2 piercings in my ear (tragus & conch) and I plan on getting more (nape, definitely). I'm here to make a few supportive friends and get lots of encouragement. Good luck to everyone!

    Interests

    Tattoos, Photography, Hiking, Criminal Minds TV Show, Heroes TV Show, World of Warcraft and some piercings. My favorite book is Robin Hood in Olde English. I'm also interested in yoga, Buddhism, meditation, a bit of wicca... Basically any new age type of philosophy. I really would like to learn a bit about it all.

      I have always wanted to lose weight, but the food and the sitting on my butt have always been easier. I only recently realized that anything worth fighting for takes hard work. This will be hard work and I need all the help I can to stick to it. I know I am a strong woman, now I have to prove it to myself.

      Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
      I did eat heathy & worked out, losing 30 lbs. But when I got with my fiance (a huge fast fooder) I lost all of that and enjoyed the fattier foods - gaining 40 lbs.

      Aspirin Not Working
      I have tried asprin for headaches and have never found it to work well.
      Excedrin Working / Worked
      Love Excedrine Migraine. If I take it early enough it really helps. Granted, the migraine doesn't disappear, but it makes them bearable. Dosage of only 2 pills per day.
      Tylenol Not Working
      I don't think Tylenol works well on any of my pains (headaches or otherwise).

      I have recently been inundated by stress and have found myself breaking down more than once. I need to find some way of dealing with this.

      I haven't done too much in this term, but the little I have done seems to help.

      Yoga has been very helpful to relax my mind and body. I am currently only attending classes weekly, but plan on adding daily sessions at home.

      This can be and can't be helpful. My fiance and I can fight like nobody's business, but mostly it's all venting and it usually works out in the end.

      I haven't much to go on here - just that I've been a quitter for some time. Once I got into working out and doing it regularly, I fell in love and forgot all about the gym.

      Hiking Somewhat Helpful
      I love to hike, but I don't do it as often as I'd like. I have to be more regular at this!
      Personal Trainer Working / Worked
      I won part in a workout contest on the radio and I loved having a personal trainer (for 8 weeks). I would do it again in a heartbeat!
      Running Working / Worked
      I loved running, once I got the hang of it. But then I fell off the wagon and I want to sprint right back on - but I realize that doesn't work.
      Strength Training Working / Worked
      I liked to see the definition in my arms during this. It was beautiful.
      Weight Watchers Somewhat Helpful
      I loved I could eat anything, but I usually missed my points (way over or under). It wasn't too easy to maintain.

      I have a big problem eating healthfully. I get into deprivation and then splurging - more on a monthly basis, up and down. I want to be able to enjoy my food without feeling deprived of it.
