Long time - no see! Well, had my 3rd back surgery on June 4th and pain was back by June 3oth. Had the X-Stop surgery this time. Doc said everything was in the right place but that I was his first failure. Yea, right! Could it have been that I was his 13th person to try it on and I was born on the 13!!??!?! How is your back problem going? We're finally planning on coming down to the Ocala area next June to investigate moving by the end of the year. Do you go to any doctors in Gainesville or locally? Are you in a pain management clinic? Pam

i hope you find good advice, me to i have a job i love at the school as a cook, the kids bring me joy. but with my back and nerve pain, they found some nerve damage and the shots didnt work., i just not sure what to do next. i feel like you at my witts. i hate to let my job go, b/c i dont have enough yrs in to retire yet... take care , i be praying.... ang

I understand what you're going through. I live in a rural area also so my choice of specialists are very limited. I've been suffering with my issues since 1983 and have had 4 spinal operations, 49 Epidural injections, 2 caudolysis, disography, myleograms, etc. Don't give up hope. True, I'm not able to work anymore but remember that people here really do care about you. Keep in touch and know we're all thinking of you

Sorry to hear that things are not going well. Could you maybe try and see if the doc could see you sooner? That's what I would do if it was getting that bad. I hope they can determine the cause and hopefully there is a non-surgical solution. Keep me posted. I'll say a prayer. {{{HUGS}}}
