My little girl is getting big!

I am proud, yet a little sad at the same time. Today, my daughter lost her first, second, third, and fourth teeth! ....thanks to the dentist LOL She turned 5 in April, and on Friday my soon to be ex noticed that she has an adult tooth that grew up behind her front bottom baby teeth. So I made an appointment with the dentist and today was the day to get it checked out. They did an x-ray, and in the x-ray you can clearly see the tooth that has already come in, and 3 more that are quickly on their way up! So the dentist said that the bottom 4 teeth needed to be pulled, because there was no room for the new teeth to come up. I had already explained to my daughter earlier that if they pulled her teeth, the tooth fairy gives extra money for teeth that have to be pulled out, so she was excited. So they were ready to pull them right then and there, I wasn't expecting that, but that is what happened. She was a little nervous, but after some laughing gas and numbing shots, she did very well. I am so proud of her! She will need braces one day, since there is a lot of crowding in her mouth, but I'm ok with that. I had the same thing happen to me. I am just so proud of my girl, I'll post pictures when she's all healed up.

   awww...shes a lot better then i am at the dentist!! :) i had the same problem with crowding in my mouth when i was younger..glad everything went well
