 Diabetes Type 2
I was diagnosed in March 2006, my readings had been at the 400 level for over 3 months, I was very tired all the time. My finances were in shambles so my doctor put me on a strict diet and exercise program and the cheapest diabetic medicine on the market.
Treatments
 Glipizide (Somewhat Helpful)
My doctor wants me on insulin, but I can't afford the meds and supplies. The Glucotrol does help a lot. My readings are still too high.

 Bereavement
My dad died when I was 20. We buried 28 people in 14 years in my large family. I thank God that each Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, ect. was there but I hate funerals. Dad's death in 1990 was terrible. Then Mom died in 2000. My world was shattered. You never know how truly precious your Mom is until she's no longer there. She was one of my dearest friends and I miss her terribly. Then August 26, 2007, my oldest brother Ed died from liver cancer. I'm trying to adjust.
