Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Used for seizure clusters
- Depakote Somewhat Helpful
- did ok, then it stopped working. Had to increase, then she became toxic. she is on this medication again but at a much lower dose.
- Diastat Working / Worked
- Used for prolonged seizures.
- Felbatol Working / Worked
- After failing the ketogenic diet due to behavior problems we have decided to try felbatol. So far she is doing better on this than anything else.
- Keppra Not Working
- Tried this one twice, both times she became very agressive.
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- she is on .25 mg three times a day
- Tegretol Not Working
- Made her seizures worse.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- had great seizure control for a while, then break through seizures prompted an increase and she had a rare side effect, lost vision had to be taken off. Vision restored.
- Trileptal Not Working
- made her irritable and agrrssive
- Vagus nerve stimulation Working / Worked
- Had it implanted on feb of 06.
- Zonegran Working / Worked
- currently on 350mg
