I'm shocked... Mood

Thank you all for your wonderful messages and hugs. They mean the world to me...especially right now.

I just found out a couple hours ago that my grandmother needs to go to hospice. I knew she was sick, but I didn't know she was this bad. Her kidneys are only working 10% now. Her body is too weak to be put on dialisys. I'm heartbroken. I don't know what to do. I love her more then life itself and would do anything for her. I feel so helpless because I know there IS NOTHING I can do to help her and keep her safe. She's not going to be living much longer. I always wanted her to come to my wedding and hold my first child. She will never be able to do those things. A piece of me is going to die with her.

Please if you pray, please pray for my grandmother, Shirley.

aww Jessica, i am so sorry loosing a grandmother is heartbrakeing, my grandparents died when i was young, and i know you dont want to hear this right now, but you are so lucky to have her for so long.

Of course you feel like a part of you will die when she passes but hold close to your heart that a part of her will live on in you. She will always be with you to share the joy on every special day & give you strength on the difficult days. You have all the special memories of the time you spent together & no one can take that away from you. Hold those memories close to your heart. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.

I do understand. I wanted my Nan to do the dame but unfortunately she died before I was married. But I knew then, and still know to this day, more than thirty years later, that there is a part of her that will always be with me and no-one and nothing can ever take that way. Will pray that you will have that too.
