Well, I guess to anyone wjo gives a hoot, I am still alive! I got a job, then lost the job, then got the same job with the same company in another city, then they fired me - after we had gone to the expense, well, my sister's money, and our hard work to find just the right place to live close to the school for Chloe - I am heartbroken! I am determined to get her in this school - it is the whole reason for moving here!

I slog thru every day - even when I was working - that was up to the 16th, so it hasn't been so long, ya know? One of their reasons - you'll love this Lesa - I spent too much time with my patients! - Poo, I am so depressed - I have worked so hard.....

Okay, enuogh of the pity pot! My email had over 3500 unread emails in it - I may have to A bomb it! I love you all !!!

This is creepy but you have been on my mind today and I came to my email to send you a hug and there you were!!!!

It's so good to hear from you. You were the first person to reach out to me here when I first joined DS. I was so excited about it because I just got a computer and I actually had gotten a message!!!! I am still new at the computer but I'm learning, slowly with the brain fog and all.

I'm so sorry your job didn't work out. Fired for spending too much time with your patients, that's crazy!! But I bet those patients enjoy your care and love!

I bet Chloe is getting big. What grade is she in? I hope you get her in the school you want her to be in. Where are you living now, if you don't mind me asking. Is it far from where you were living? I'm not nosey, am I??!! lol

It's Soooooo good to hear frome you!!!! I am so sorry things have to get so messed up. I totally understand getting fired for spending too much time with patients, I did too. I was only a CNA, but I still find it sad. I once asked my boss if I could buy one of my ladys a hamberger because she just wanted one sooo bad. After I got permission, I still got into trouble.
Anyway... I'm glad you are back, I have missed you, and I hope things get better. Much love.

Life can be such a dreadful series of ups and downs... But you just keep on movin' girlfriend. It is NUTS how we're suppose to "assembly line" or patients. It's all about profits, isn't it? I'm sorry about that mess. How is the job hunt going now? Are Chloe and hubby there with you now? How is your pain? What is hubby doing to help himself, and his family? And how is precious Chloe? So glad you popped in to say hi. Missed you! I got married to Michelle on June 23 in Toronto. We're legal and there ain't a damn thing this country can do about it! We're both looking for jobs in Toronto so we can move there ASAP. Hopefully early next year...

Started a new job at Planned Parenthood; love it! AND it has domestic partner benefits so I can take care of my wife if for any reason she can't care for herself. I quit my last job because they didn't offer nor did they value domestic partner benefits. It's all about principle...

Dear Star, I haven't been on the DS train for a long time. I know about working as a nurse because performance anxiety has done me in more than once. And ya, I've been fired, or quit under mutual agreement more times than I want to count. Do not let it get you down. There is more to you than your job. When you need a job, you will find one.

I don't know much about your daughter but I need to tell you that no matter how badly things are going with the children, they do grow up and they do appreciate your love and caring.

(((Star))), I got fired too. June 2nd. I know how hard this must be for you. I too have been told that I take too much time with my patients. They need to remember that when it is their time to be taken care of, they would be lucky to have you caring for them.
