ONE WHOLE MONTH QUIT - I can't believe it's been a month since I quit. I'm going to celebrate now and buy some new strings for my guitar.

Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I tried to quit about 2 years ago, using patches. These where great while i was on them, but when i had finished the coarse all i could think of was smoking 24/7. I lasted just over a month before i started again. So here i am again attempt no.2. The nurse has put me on champix (Chantix) to see how I get on. To be honest I don't know which I'm more afraid of, not quitting or the huge list of possible side effects. I'll see how it goes.
Treatments
- Chantix Too Soon to Tell
- Only been on it a day. I'm full of cold so I'm not sure if i have any side affects. I did notice that i don't get any nic rush sensation when i spark up now.

- So far I think it's harder to stop than with N.R.T. and a lot easier than going cold turkey. But I guess N.R.T. isn't stopping your addiction, just stopping you smoking. I've been on Chantix a week, and it's my quit day today.20 hours without a cig. I did feel like a shaken up bottle of pop for an hour after the 1st tablet this morning but that wore off as I got on with my day.
