Close Bisexuality
Have known since elementary school that I've been attracted to both males and females. Currently in VERY serious yet long-distance relationship with a man who doesn't know I'm bi. Have been actively exploring my attraction to women since Jan. Have slept with one woman several times so far. Trying to figure out if I can do without sex with women and if my bf is the right type of man for me.
Close Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesDiagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure in early 2006. Virtually impossible to have kids because my ovaries are done. Osteopenic. Only options are adoption & AI. Don't want AI--not willing to go through pregnancy when the kid won't even have my genes.
Treatments
- Oral Contraceptives Somewhat Helpful
- Taking it for the hormones so that I can still absorb calcium. Has helped a bit with vaginal dryness. Still rarely get my period, since I produce so little hormone on my own as it is.
Open Narcolepsy
Symptoms started in high school. Diagnosed with mild narcolepsy AND sleep apnea in early 2000.
Treatments
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Currently take 200mg in the morning. Sometimes I split it up and take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. Sometimes get headaches or light-headed. Definitely helps, but my body can get used to it if I take it every day consistently. I deliberately skip on days I know I don't need to be as awake.
Open Coming Out
Have known since elementary school that I've been attracted to both males and females. Have never been with a woman. Currently in VERY serious relationship with a man who doesn't know I'm bi. Terrified to tell him. Have a gay brother who is out but not to family except me.
