is feeling OK
Well, 49 yr. old man, 1 daughter, 5 stepdaughters and 1 stepson. Between my wife and I we have 12 grandchildren and another on the way. I've always been active, participated in athletics in school. One of the myriad problems with my back is an old football injury (fractured thoracic vertebrae and damaged ligaments) from 1972 which was never treated, or even detected until 2004. It has finally gotten so bad I can't deal with it without narcotic pain mgmt. and physical therapy. Also have a congenital back defect which causes chronic, severe sciatic pain and neuropathy in my legs. A rheumatologist I saw dx'ed me with fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis as well so I guess I'm in for a fun time...what little the fibro and arthritis let me remember anyway. Oh, and of course the Social Security people say I'm not disabled so I'm fighting with them. Over all, I'd give damn near anything to be able to go back to work, but I never know from one day, sometimes one hour, to the next how I'm going to be, and at times can't do hardly anything but lie in bed.
Love outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, though I can't participate in them much anymore. Used to do martial arts some but can't do much of that these days either. Also like music, reading, art, travel, lots of different things.
