I have Hep C. Run a Hep C Support group monthly.I am a non-responder from treatment, twice. I have two boys of my own, and many step childern.I have 2 grandchildern with son . Newborn to our daughter
Interests
Raising awareness and giving Support about Hepatitis C. I raise cockatiels but I am hpoing for a break I seem to get to attached. They are alot of work and I have a hard enough time just getting up sometimes.

Support Groups
Close Hepatitis C
I have HCV Geno type 1A. I am a non responder to treatment. I have tried it twice. I run a monthly Hep C and Liver support Group. I am also on our state Hepatitis Advisory Community. Currently try to recurit members for The Sierra Nevada Task Force. This has been tough as most people go into denial first then go through the treatment without attending a support group.
Treatments
- Interferon, pegylated Not Working
- Fatigue muscle aches at first.them it was easy probably because it wasn't working
- Ribavarin Not Working
- was the hardest part, had itching,hair loss lack of taste.
