- Retained too much water, switched to Avandamet.

- Retained too much water, went back on Avandamet.

- Doing fine after we cut out the metformin.

- We're eating less meat and more vegetables and legumes.

- I had mild, temporary renal failure. Switched to Glucotrol.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionDepression runs in my family. I've had it since I was a child, and have been in treatment for the past 15 years.
Treatments
- Celexa Working / Worked
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Became too expensive. Switched to Celexa.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- After 9 years, it stopped working and we had to try other therapies.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- Individual therapy worked beautifully for the first year. Then I was put in group therapy with a poor facilitator - it was a joke.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Works great for me. A desirable side effect is that it treats my insomnia.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Support from FRIENDS is helping. My family (excluding my husband) is part of the problem.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I would die without journalling. It helped me through my teens right up to the present day.
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
Emotional/psychological abuse in original family. Ongoing abuse being attempted.

- The best thing I did was to leave home when I was 20.

- I acquired a taste for country music two years ago, when its messages helped me set my priorities.
