OKAY.... LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN!!
My Husband had his Port and Feeding tube put in on Friday, Feb 1st. Of course the Hospital sent him home a few hours later with "no worries!" By Sunday afternoon he had vomitted some blood clots and was running a temp and coughing up green... We spent Sunday evening and most of the night at the ER. At least they gave him some good pain meds and he finally got some sleep. They sent us home at 4am Monday with a prescription for some heavy antibiotics to clear up his sinus infection and bronchites. Of course the chemo and radiation scheduled for 8am (the same day) was post-poned! Well they almost killed him already and we haven't even started.
Tomorrow (Feb 7) we are supposed to be there at 8am and start the chemo and radiation. Earlier today, he went and got a brush cut. I asked him when was the last time he had a brush cut and he said 1964 when he joined the Air Force! I told him he looked like a very cute Drill Sergeant!
