Journal Entry for December 21, 2007 Mood

We don't even know how bad my Husband's cancer is yet and it's already changing our lives! I have been researching everything I can get my hands on using Google and such. He is being VERY optimistic and figures once it is "taken care of" he will be up and at 'em in 6 weeks! I am reading about 25% survival rates and not being able to eat for 6 months and continuous pain... We haven't even mentioned to his grown son and daughter what is going on.  Last they knew, their father is still going thru tests to see what caused the TIA that he had on Labor day weekend. He has been having extensive neurological testings and We told the family doctor to check his stomach while they were testing everything else. We found out about this Cancer by mistake!!!!!!

I figure we should let his kids know the day after Christmas (even though we won't have the CT Scan of the chest and abdomen results until Jan 3).
