  Visit her often, get in a routine...dementia gives us permission to tell white lies because they cant cope like before. My dad died last december. She asked and asked and asked for him. We told her the truth and she would sob as if it were the first time she knew. After a couple dozen times my sister figured it was best to say Dad is golfing....

  hi thanks very nuch but i don't feel a wonderful woman at the moment. reading everyone stories and advice i feeel i haven't been doing too well. but i understand why she does things more and hopefully i can help her much more. do you feel like you've in some ways lost your mum? we used to laugh so much but its as if shes not really with me much. thanks for support i very much appreciate it many hugs
