I have had the more horrible UTI for about a week now. I am in so much pain!!! Everything hurts in "that area". And to make matters worse, I woke up this morning and the entire right side of my torso is in pain; well between my rib cage and pelvic bone. Anyone have any idea what this could be? The pains feel kinda like really bad cramps, but I rarely get cramps and when I do I only get them around the start of my period which isnt for 3 more weeks. Any advice anyone can give would be really appricated!

Not sure exactly. A UTI can cause quite a bit of pain and you do have a lot of nerves in the body, so it could go into the back, etc... I would get it checked out at the Dr's. if it's not getting better. You shouldn't let it go too long. I know that drinking cranberry juice is good, also, you may want to eat yogurt with live active cultures and you could buy acidophilis or live active culture tablets at your pharmacy. Those help too. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Sandi

A uti can certainly move to the kidneys or a person can become septic if the infection is left untreated. My other concern would be that it could be your appendix. Many people misdiagnose appendicitis as a pelvic infection or UTI. GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!! Hope things get better soon friend.
