I love any hobby and love trying new ones-that is the best therapy. I love music, reading, and love to travel when possible. I love trying new things whether it's a restaraunt or an amusement park. I have a 4yr old parrot who entertains me all the time and a few great friends help me through the tough times. This website has helped me alot and I have met some great people.

Hi!Glad to hear from you.Well,I'm not doing so good.As,I caught a Stomach virus last week.Went to the Dr.got 2-medicines(an antibiotic&some anti-diarrea)Anyway.I've been feeling like I might have a yeast infection from the antibiotics.So,I stopped taking them for now.Well,now I'm hurting really bad on my left side of my lower abdomen.Costantly it started yesterday.It hurts bad.It hurts when just touched too.I don't have my appendix.So,ideas are helpful at this poit.Thanks,Jackie

Hi Michelle! I am so sorry that I have not been on this website in a long while. Thanks for praying for me and reaching out to me, it means the world. I am doing great! I finally got through the anxiety and depression from my surgery. I have been very successful! I love the story of your bird laying eggs. I bet she is so cute laying on them. That is very sweet of you to let her do that for a while... I live near the Gulf Coast and we have had to evacuate twice this summer...but before we evacuated for Gustav, I got a phone call from someone that was looking for a home for a 5 year old Yorkie male. Long story short, I took him in against everything I said I would do since my baby Tinkerbell passed. His name is "Toby", he has been good for my other dog, and good for me. I decided that one bad experience (heartbreak) could not allow me to not ever love another dog, or let into my heart again. So many animals need homes, and I have to be open to that. I am glad I did! I hope that you will be ok, keep praying for me, and please write back, love to ya, Kim :)

Have you ever heard The Carpenters Christmas Portrait CD? If you havent, you should. Its really good. Whenever I hear that cd (no matter what time of year it is), I always dream of me having my perfect family, my husband and my child decorating for Christmas, and/or me in the kitchen cooking Christmas food and things like that and spending the holidays like a real family..........now will that really happen or am I just reaching for the stars and getting nothing? I'm getting by, i have been so busy lately i've hardly had a chance to chance to catch up. If i'm home i have wanted to be with cath or asleep. Migraines have ceased more or less, the odd one now and then. Have suffered with depression my whole adult life until I said a prayer to be put on the right meds since mine were making me feel worse. I have a 15 yr old and a parrot who keeps me company.I have been through severe sexual and physical abuse my whole life up until recently, but am here to tell you there is hope. I have been sucidal for most of my adult life until now-thanks to God and my doc. If I can do it-anyone can with his help.
