Sounds like your doing the right thing, it will seem scary and painful and I'm glad to hear you have friends and family to help support you. well, I am a father of three children that is getting a divorce from an manipulative bleepbleep bleepitybleep. i hope to see my kids when i can.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Too Soon to Tell
- just started mediation through the court, the first meeting we agreed to talk about hours of visitation.
- Family Therapy Not Working
- i brought it up but stbx did not even want to give it a try.
- Forgiveness Considering
- to forgive is to forget isay...i wanna forget twenty years with this woman, but not the 3 kids. conundrum? yes very much so.
- Leave Working / Worked
- i did go to my momz house. been there five mo's now. payin rent and takin care of dad.
- Love Considering
- thought about dating another person too but i guess i was brought up old school and will wait till the divorce is final.(quite unlike stbx) just doesn't feel like i could.
- Music Working / Worked
- the louder the better....quiet music too helps relax me but i prefer ROCKNROLL to think by...
- Pets Somewhat Helpful
- my dad has this little tacobell dog that is very friendly and is waiting for pets and walks...she's cool.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- saw a counselor for getting clean @ the start of this whole mess...i mean divorce.

- not a lot of time for reading, but if i get the chance i will. helps to pass the time.

- haven't joined any divorce groups yet. i did clean up through AA and NA.

- mediation is ok. talking to stbx is hard but i put on a fake smile and fool her n2 thinkin that i ok. i like this site for talkin.

- how do i say time is working? it never stops. the trick is to deal with the problem in the now.
