Glot's Journal

FBS this morning was 116.      We are having another nice day with sunshine and it is into the 50's already. A little windy but thats ok.   Don't know really what I want to do today besides  the routlne of the day with the household duties.    Just finished the Little Hickman Creek Series by Sharlene MacLaren.  Really nice books .  I am now reading Simple Gifts by Lori Copeland.  She is another of my favorite authors .    Simple Gifts  is about Marlene Queens going home to Parnass Springs, Missouri, to put her late Aunt Beth's house on the market and settle the estate.  But once she's there, Marline suddenly find herself in over her head.  Her Aunt Ingrid grows more

demanding by the day; her childhood sweetheart is now the town vet and acting mayor; and a group of citizens wants to erect a statue of her father, creating a firestorm of controversy.  As one thing leads to another, Marlene sees her entire life being rearranged before her eyes. 

Got on the scale today and Wow I went down 5 pounds . Now I'll take that and run with it.  Now get another 5 pounds off would be even greater.

Think Ill make BLT's for lunch today.  Hubby will really like that idea.
