  Hi Mish, Thanks so much for the encouragement. To answer your question, at Mayo, they wouldn't let me schedule an appointment with a neurosurgeon. They said with acromegaly you have to start with the endocrinology department but they said they would try to give me any "necessary surgery" during the same visit since I am coming from so far. My appointment is May 21st at 7:15 a.m. They also tell you to allow 3 to 5 business days. I have MRI images and a lab report that should show them within minutes that I need surgery and maybe they will quickly line up a neurosurgeon and an operating room...... I'll find out in a little more than a month, but I'm hoping they will do the surgery during that visit and keep me from having to pay for more plane tickets there. I hope American Airlines stays in the air between now and then, too...... Take care, Rose

  Hi, our Dr. Phil show aired as a rerun Monday nite.people are on the message boards sharing their opinions of my problems...they don't relize that the thing is so edited it is ridiculous! I get stressed reading the stuff..tell me to quit! lol

  You should get on you-tube and search Kansas Jayhawk Basketball(it shows our downtown after the game last night) I have about 80,000 people that would be big competition for the honor of #1 fan. This town went CRAZY! They love their Hawks!
