  Sorry for your sons loss of his friends....it is difficult...my exerience with my own adult children is that sometimes men and women grieve differently. My husband was internal with his thoughts when my 19 year old son died. My older son became quiet about the death...he did a lot of private soul searching...he did talk to his friends, his brothers friends and his sister...not to me...maybe because I was devastated...my daughter wanted to discuss it all the time for a while (as women will)...then did not want to talk about it much anymore...I hope your son can speak to his friends, teachers, religious head, mentors or you when he is ready...maybe he just has to have time for the shock to wear off...Everyone grieves differently.
